i never come here

I have just been trying to sign in for the last 20 minutes while i render off my film (it is so long since i used my password - i couldn't get it right)  All the animation except for one tiny little bit is done - and i am going to London tomorrow to help with the sound mix at fonic.  I am really looking forward to a day away from the desk - doing something lovely and seeing it with proper sound instead of my cobbled together stuff. 

My lay off to tape is next week - and i have so much to do to get to there (putting umbilicals and backgrounds in - making sure the nipples are right, tweaking the pubic hair) - but it is do-able and i will get there if i work hard enough.  

The last few months have been a bit of a blur.  I have worked every day  from 7 to 7 - often - especially these last weeks - longer.  Stopping only to swim in the lovely bristol lido, to row on sunday mornings and to cycle home and sleep before i get up and cycle back in.  I haven't been to the zoo for too long, and most of my friends have given up calling me to go out. 

I havent been eating my usual healthy lovely diet - i haven't had time to go to the veg shop - so have been eating too many sandwiches and shreddies. My body doesn't like me much for it.

It has been a strange time - but i have really truly enjoyed it hugely a lot of the time.  

Seeing it all come together has been ridiculously exciting.  

About a month ago i realized it wasn't an animatic anymore  ( though i am still rendering into the animatic folder).  And started to get very eager - to get everything animated and in.  It is lovely having a list of things and being able to see the end.  At the beginning i couldn't imagine ever getting to the end of this. But it is looking and sounding really good.

I am really happy with it.

and so excited about having my life back again.

(expecting that to be a little strange though)
